Known for its industry-leading 100,000-gallon capacity, this filter provides a full year of service for most large households, delivering clean, clear water to every faucet without sacrificing water pressure.
This heavy-duty cartridge utilizes a dual-action design: a non-woven pleated outer media to capture sediment, dirt, and rust, and a high-efficiency carbon block core to remove chlorine taste and odor (CTO). It is also the direct replacement for 3M Part #3MPF311HD, making it compatible with 3MPF301 series systems.

Excellent filter for my iron heavy water.
I have used this filter as a pre-filter to my 3 stage system and it does a great job of getting most of the iron out of my very iron heavy well water.
