Product Description
Hydronix 20" Full Flow Clear Filter Housing w/Pressure Relief 1"
Hydronix 20" Full Flow Filter Housings offer the versatility to meet all of your large-capacity filtration needs, including high-flow and heavy-sediment applications. The extra large housing allows for greater cartridge capacity, reducing the number of vessels required for high flow-rate applications. The High-Flow Polypropylene (HFPP) cap is available with 3/4", 1" or 1-1/2" NPT inlet and outlet ports. The 1-1/2" internal port allows a greater volume of liquid to pass through the HFPP cap more rapidly. Full Flow Housings are compatible with a broad range of chemicals and are available with or without a pressure relief button. They accept a wide variety of 4-1/2" diameter cartridges.

Great but 1 complaint
So this is basically the best water filter housing I could find in this size. Literally every other filter housing could not handle high enough pressure (my water pressure is only 65 psi but wanted wiggle room for surges), or it was not a see through design so you can actively monitor water filter condition. However there is 1 drawback that kept my from rating it a 5 star. On the top of the filter casing are holes, they meet up 100% perfectly with universal water filter mounting bracket plates, I got 1 off Amazon, but the holes are NOT threaded!? I ended up having to extremely carefully thread in 1/2" x 2" course lag screws, and put in (4) washers above the mounting bracket on each screw so as to not pierce through the filter head into the filter area thus creating leaks and totalling it. I had to use a drill bit to extremely carefully mill out some space to widen it just under 1/2", like 7/16 drill bit or something, and boring it out just enough I did successfully get it mounted to the universal plate and it looks great. I hope the manufacturer makes the holes in that thick ABS filter head threaded cuz this would be a 5 star product.
