Product Description
Keurig Omnipure KQ8A Complete Water Filter Kit (Q5486)
The Keurig Omnipure KQ8A Complete Water Filter Kit is a vital maintenance component for commercial Keurig brewing systems. This kit features a high-grade Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) core for chlorine reduction and a polyphosphate scale inhibitor to protect internal brewer components from hard water damage.
Whether you are running a small office cafe or a high-volume breakroom, the KQ8A ensures that your water is free from offensive tastes and odors that ruin coffee profiles. More importantly, the scale inhibition technology prevents calcium and magnesium from precipitating on heating elements, which is the #1 cause of brewer failure.

Fittings Have Changed
I was replacing an existing filter that was supposedly the same filter. The input fitting changed from the existing one. Even though there were 2 options, neither matched the old one plus the old one was just an input line while the new one was a 'T' with a shutoff. On the old one the shutoff had been on the filter unit itself. The old one had a 1/4" line with a compression fitting.
