Hydro Guard HDG-MC2 Replacement Water Filter Cartridge
The Hydro Guard HDG-MC2 Filter Cartridge is a premium commercial water filtration solution engineered specifically for fountain beverage and combination drink systems. Designed as an economical, high-performance replacement for the Everpure MC2 (EV9612-56) cartridge, it improves beverage taste, protects costly dispensing equipment, and ensures optimal carbonation retention by drastically reducing chlorine, taste, odor, and harmful contaminants.
Featuring advanced DualTek filtration media, the Hydro Guard HDG-MC2 traps sub-micron dirt and particulates down to 0.5 micron. It effectively reduces health-related contaminants, including asbestos fibers, Cryptosporidium, and Giardia cysts. Its sanitary quick-change (SQC) design allows clean, tool-free cartridge replacement without exposing internal components to contamination.
In addition to improving water quality, the HDG-MC2 protects beverage system pumps, tubing, seals, and valves from clogging, corrosion, and premature wear, keeping maintenance costs low and extending service life.
